LAR Meet the Candidates 2024
Message from Los Altos Residents:
Los Altos Residents (LAR) invited all the candidates running for City Council this year to participate in interviews that would be recorded, posted to our website and emailed to all our subscribers. All of the candidates accepted our invitation!
About one week prior to the interviews, five identical questions were emailed to the candidates. All the candidates had the opportunity to use as much time as they needed to answer the questions. The recorded interviews you will view were not edited or changed in any manner.
This is the last at-large election cycle in Los Altos. The City is facing numerous challenges -- meeting State-mandated housing numbers, solving the downtown parking problems, resolving disputes over the civic center uses, among many others. There are 3 open seats and 5 candidates. LAR believes these unedited interviews will provide valuable insight into how each of these candidates will approach these challenges and engage with us. We believe watching these videos will be time well spent.
